Publish your research with a clear editorial route
Prepare your manuscript, choose the right journal, understand charges and licensing, then submit through the appropriate journal workflow.
Choose the right publishing path
This page is a practical starting point for authors preparing a manuscript for a GAP journal. Use it to decide what to prepare before you enter the journal submission system.
Find a journal
Check the journal scope, article types, open access license, editorial office contact, and current APC information before preparing files.
Prepare files
Separate the blinded manuscript from title-page metadata, author details, declarations, figures, tables, and supplementary files.
Submit online
Send journal manuscripts through the journal submission route. General book, society, and partnership proposals should use the inquiry form.
Follow decisions
Respond to editorial checks, reviewer comments, production queries, proof corrections, and final metadata confirmation promptly.
What authors should prepare
A complete submission reduces avoidable delays during editorial screening and peer-review assignment.
Blinded manuscript
Main text prepared for double-blind review, with identifying author information removed where the journal requires it.
Title page metadata
Full author names, affiliations, corresponding author details, ORCID iDs where available, funding, and acknowledgements.
Ethics and declarations
Ethics approval, consent, conflict of interest, funding, data availability, author contribution, and AI-use statements where relevant.
Figures and tables
Editable or high-resolution visuals, clear legends, table titles, units, abbreviations, and permission notes when reused material is included.
References
Complete citations matched to the journal style, with DOI links added where available and every in-text citation accounted for.
Cover letter
A concise letter explaining fit with the journal scope, article contribution, originality, and any special editorial notes.
Open access charges
Article processing charges are set by journal and article type. Charges are never used to influence editorial decisions, and payment is requested only after editorial acceptance.
Standard GJVAS charges after the inaugural year
- Original research article: USD 1500
- Review article: USD 1500
- Case report: USD 600
- Short communication: USD 600
Publication fees are not charged until after editorial acceptance. Fees do not influence editorial decisions.
Licensing
GJVAS publishes accepted open access articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This supports reuse, distribution, and adaptation with proper attribution to the original work.
Production
Accepted articles move through copyediting, layout, proofing, metadata checks, citation preparation, and online publication on the journal website.
Discovery
Published GAP articles can be listed in the GAP Article Database and article sitemap for stronger discovery, citation export, and future Crossref metadata workflows.
